Oh that, I didn't really do anything with that (probably why it wasn't in the tutorial). I just messed with the noise options and the brightness/contrast.

I faved this a long time ago, it's a pretty nice tutorial!
but you forgot to tell one thing. when you make the stars your layer has to have the right level settings or ells the stars well look bad. it took me sometime to figure that out.

Well I showed the box and basically what I set it to (12) then to make it look less noisy I showed the level of contrast/brightness I used. Is that what you meant?
